Bifrost Children's School and good reflex habits

The Bifrost children's school is brightening up Herning by handing out reflectors to all children and parents. Like Safe & Shine, Bifrost wants to make the use of reflectors part of the conversation about safety and community.

Here is our exciting and successful collaboration with Bifrost.

Fall 2023:

Reflectors Day 2023

Jane Vanting visits a 0th grade class with her daughter Frida and talks about how reflectors are used in Switzerland and the importance of being seen in the dark.

All children in Grade 0 will receive one reflector each.

Fall 2024:

On October 23, there is an article in Herning Folkeblad in connection with Inspector Annie's birthday. Here, she points out, among other things, that all children should be given reflectors when they start school.

Reflective Gear Day 2024

Jane Vanting visits the 0th grade again with her daughter Frida and talks about how reflectors are used in Switzerland and the importance of being seen in the dark.

All children in Grade 0 will receive one reflector each.

Jane Vanting also gives a presentation to the entire school, and all students receive a reflective lanyard to attach to their clothing.

Brøndums Bakery supports the project and provides breakfast rolls for children and parents.

On November 1, Annie will send out a message on Intra/Aula regarding the importance of reflectors, and a Bifrost code will be provided for a discount on purchases atwww.safeandshine.com.

Fall 2025:

Reflectors Day 2025

Jane Vanting visits the 0th grade once again with her daughter Frida and talks about how reflectors are used in Switzerland and the importance of being seen in the dark.

All children in Grade 0 will receive one reflector each.

On December 16, 2025, Annie gathers the entire school and talks about reflectors and their importance. All children and their parents are given a Bifrost reflector.

Jane and Annie have had a productive discussion about what the reflector could look like, and have come up with this strap that can easily be attached to arms and legs, bags, bicycles, etc.

We created this private label with the Bifrost logo, which also resulted in an excellent branding opportunity with a really good cause.

Perhaps a new tradition of security and community at school has been launched.
