Intern at Safe & Shine: 3 months
Do you want to help make traffic safer? At Safe & Shine, we develop reflectors and visibility products that both children and adults really want to use. We are looking for a dedicated intern to support our communication and marketing efforts and help spread the word about visibility and road safety.
About the internship
As an intern at Safe & Shine, you will be an active part of our team and get hands-on experience with communication, branding and digital media. You will work on concrete projects where you can see your ideas put into action and create measurable results.
You'll gain experience with that:
- Digital communication: Update and optimize website and social media with news, products, images, videos and SEO customization
- Graphic design and branding: Develop materials for campaigns, events and social media that promote visibility and road safety
- Newsletters and campaigns: Plan, set up and send newsletters, evaluate impact and optimize communication
- PR and press: Writing press releases and following up with journalists and bloggers
- Partnerships and collaboration: Research and coordinate collaborations with schools, municipalities and businesses
- Event and campaign support: Support at trade fairs, school visits and events, including photo and video documentation and collection of user stories
Concrete project examples
- Develop campaigns for schools to use reflectors during dark months
- Plan and document local events with a focus on road safety
- Create visual content for social media and press releases that get coverage in relevant media
- Optimize and maintain the website, including news, products, promotions, SEO and user-friendly navigation

Statement from Anita, former intern at Safe & Shine:
I did an internship at Safe & Shine from May to August 2025. During my internship, I worked I worked with market analysis, target group identification, and media plan development.
I examined the target group for products with reflectors, how the target group can activated, and which channels and communication strategies could be used to create greater visibility and reinforce the message about the importance of wearing reflectors.
The internship was flexible and took place both from home and in the shared office at Business Factory, which worked really well. The flexible framework allowed for immersion and independent work, while the ongoing sparring contributed to developing and qualify the ideas.
During the internship, I strengthened my analytical skills, my independence, and my understanding of strategic communication in an organizational context.
