The children's school Bifrost lights up Herning by distributing reflectors to all children and parents. Bifrost, like Safe & Shine, wants to make the use of reflectors part of the conversation about safety and community.
Here is our exciting and successful collaboration with Bifrost.
Autumn 2023:
Reflector Day 2023
Jane Vanting visits the 0th grade with her daughter Frida and talks about how reflectors are used in Switzerland, and emphasizes the importance of being seen in the dark.
All children in the 0th grade receive a reflector each.
Autumn 2024:
On October 23rd, an article appears in Herning Folkeblad in connection with principal Annie's birthday. Here, she points out, among other things, that all children should obligatorily receive reflectors distributed at the start of school.
Reflector Day 2024
Jane Vanting again visits the 0th grade with her daughter Frida and talks about how reflectors are used in Switzerland, and emphasizes the importance of being seen in the dark.
All children in the 0th grade receive a reflector each.
Jane Vanting also gives a presentation to the whole school, and all students receive a reflector band to attach to their clothes.
Brøndums Bageri supports the project and provides morning buns for children and parents.
On November 1st, Annie sends a message on intra/Aula regarding the importance of reflectors, and a Bifrost code is provided for a discount on purchases at www.safeandshine.com
Autumn 2025:
Reflector Day 2025
Jane Vanting once again visits the 0th grade with her daughter Frida and talks about how reflectors are used in Switzerland, and emphasizes the importance of being seen in the dark.
All children in the 0th grade receive a reflector each.
On December 16th, 2025, Annie gathers the whole school and talks about reflectors and their importance. All children and their parents receive the Bifrost reflector.
Jane and Annie have had a good dialogue about what the reflector could look like, and have decided on this band which can easily be attached to arms and legs, bags, bikes, etc.
We created this private label with the Bifrost logo, which also resulted in an excellent branding opportunity with a very good cause.
Perhaps a new tradition of safety and community at the school has been initiated.
